History

Delta is the most grown up looking of the three androids found in the crashed ship in the prologue. She seems to be programmed for interacting with people, or something very like them. She can learn a new language in a matter of days if she really tries and understands the complexities of human interaction and psychology more easily than most people. Despite this she tends not to worry about the reactions of others before speaking.

She is very fond of Irian, perhaps too much, and he can’t really handle it very well. It’s unclear how much of her attraction to him is directly due to her programming and how much is “natural” though as far as Delta’s concerned there’s not much difference anyway.
